Why Sight?

There are at least 1 billion people in the world with preventable vision impairment. Among the leading causes of vision loss are cataracts and unaddressed refractive error. (Source: World Health Organization, 2022)

SEE International works to provide free eyecare to those around the world that may otherwise not have access to treatment.

Conditions We Treat

The majority of patients treated by SEE have cataracts or refractive errors. However, in addition to eye screenings, our expert volunteer doctors treat other conditions as well.
