On February 8, 2025, the SEE Vision Care (SVC) held a booth at the Earl Warren Showgrounds in Santa Barbara for the third Annual 211 Community Day Celebration, a free event designed to connect individuals and families with essential local resources.

When Nitza’s mom, Erika, made her appointment with our Santa Barbara Vision Care program in Santa Barbara, she asked if we had a similar program in Sacramento, CA.
Dr. Jarstad is a MSICS L1 faculty member. UC Irvine was the first course she was was a faculty member for in 2019, and she also served as a faculty member for our L1 course in Hawaii/HE in 2020.
For those of us who have never had to live without our eyesight, the thought of going blind is something we might never even consider.
