A Grandmother From Namibia
Martha lost her vision about a year ago. As a result, she had to rely on her grandson Titus to care for her, which meant that he couldn’t go to school or play with his friends. Her blindness had not only taken away her freedom – it also threatened her grandson’s future. Thankfully, she learned that SEE and Dr. Helena Ndume were holding a sight-restoring clinic near her home. Experience Martha’s heartwarming journey as her sight, and her family’s independence, are restored.

About half the population depends on agriculture to survive, making blindness a very real problem.
