MSICS for the Phaco Surgeon: A Step-by-Step Approach

This animated lecture was created by veteran SEE International volunteer eye surgeon and Manual Small Incision Cataract Surgery (MSICS) Level 1 course instructor Dr. Michael Colvard in 2022. Over the past two decades, Dr. Colvard has had the pleasure to work with Dr. Helena Ndume, the Director of the Namibian Blindness Prevention Project. In this video, Dr. Colvard shares an animated step by step approach to the MSICS technique, which he learned by working with Dr. Ndume and other surgeons from around the world.
