Connecting People to Our Cause
Events
Each year, SEE organizes and attends events that connect others to our cause, and keep us connected to the humanitarian eyecare field.
We coordinate and host outreach events such as Children’s Sight Week and Veterans Week, which are designed to ensure specific groups are provided with quality eyecare services right here within our own community.
SEE staff members also attend eyecare conferences such as The American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS) and American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) conferences to meet, recruit, and cultivate potential partners and volunteer doctors that share our humanitarian eyecare goals.

SEE is constantly striving to both establish and maintain partnerships with like-minded organizations that help propel our mission in significant ways.
These invaluable partnerships provide the support, equipment, and clinical sites needed to offer free eyecare services to those in need.
We also spread awareness of our mission and the global need for accessible eyecare through our email and publication outreach efforts.
Media
Sharing the work we do is an important part of connecting with others and inspiring people to join our mission. That’s why we frequently post to our blog and create short videos that tell the stories of the individuals we serve, the doctors we partner with, and the life-changing impacts we make.
