Lia Giglio

In 2017, Lia Giglio joined the SEE International team as a program coordinator and now serves as the Director of Education and International Programs. In her many years at SEE, she has developed a passion for humanitarian ophthalmology and enjoys working with people from around the world.

Lia’s path to SEE began with her love of travel and her Global Studies degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She deepened her interest in diverse cultures and global issues after living abroad in France and Peru, experiences that steered her towards international work and led her to her current role.
