  Corporate GivingSEE International relies not only on the financial support of our generous donors, but also on in-kind and financial support from our corporate partners. We are constantly seeking new corporate collaborations – expedition sponsorships, product donations, medical education support, matching gift grants, and more. Alcon Labs provides the lion’s share of the medical supplies and equipment that make SEE International expeditions possible: medications, intraocular lenses, suture, and disposable supplies. In 2008 Alcon donated over $5 million in in-kind medical supplies to SEE International. The Santa Barbara Eyeglass Factory has been a strong partner of our local program for many years by donating free eyeglasses to patients who need them. SEE International’s collaboration with Santa Barbara Eyeglass Factory was recognized in 2008 with a Leadership in Action Award from the Nonprofit Support Center. Magellan’s International Travel Co. Magellan’s has been a proud partner of SEE International for the past two decades, providing travel kits for surgeons and advertising outreach to its US customers. More recently Magellan’s has included SEE International information in its catalog mailings, sharing our mission with their customers. Yardi Systems, Inc., has generously sponsored clinics in India (where they have a corporate office) for two years in a row. By sponsoring expeditions to this region, Yardi enriches their relationship with the Indian community in which they work and live, as well as giving a sense of pride in workers both in India and the U.S. |
